Consider adding to your checklist “visit the specials teachers.” As a music teacher, I am also at Meet the Teacher night and would be glad to see some people!

I’m so curious as to what the ‘famous people’ tags are all about? I clicked on the image, but it takes me to the Meet the Parents/Teacher blog. Could you tell me more about the tags?

The tags are for Black History Month and Women’s History Month! My students love them. If you search my site for that, it will come up. Sorry for the bad link.

This is great! We usually have 2 scheduled sessions for our Meet the Teacher Night so if parents have more than one class to visit they can make it to another session. When the last session is over my principal makes an announcement that teachers are needed in the library for a quick meeting and thanks the parents for coming. That’s our code for “Get to the library so you don’t get parent trapped!” He thanks the teachers and sends us on our way. It’s a great plan that is very appreciated! 😉
