Summer Cleaning, Giveaway, & Summer Giveaways

I am currently in the middle of sorting all of my scholastic teacher resource & professional books. I have a TON! The Librarian at my school retired this year. She used to be a 3rd grade teacher and she passed on all of her teaching and classroom library books to me since I am a new teacher. I was ecstatic! However, now that I am going through all of them I am finding a lot that I don’t/won’t use. I plan on sorting the ones I am keeping into subjects/units and the rest into piles to give to the thrift store and to giveaway on my blog.

These giveaways will take place later this summer after my current giveaway ends. I’m not 100% sure but I’ll probably giveaway groups of books with common units/themes at a time. These won’t be huge, long giveaways, just a couple of days to see who could use the books I don’t need.
